Purgatoire River Vegetation Management Crew Event
Just show up and/or bring your cutting tools (chainsaws, heavy-duty clippers, etc.) to clear woody invasive species out of the river corridor as we start a brand new trail and improve wildlife habitat! Some will cut, others will carry and pile (only lift what your back is excited about!)
Gloves, snacks, and drinks provided!

US Army Corps of Engineers Event
Be a part of building the new Spillway Trail, a first step towards connecting the State Park to the Riverwalk! We’ll be building a new fence and arranging rocks to define the trail and protect our natural resources. Just show up—we’ll provide the tools!
