We are pleased to announce our first major concert of the year at Veteran’s Memorial Square, Fort Wootton in Trinidad, CO. The event, Jazz on the Green – Uncle Dick Wootton’s’ Birthday / Veterans Appreciation Day! will be May 1, 2021 from 12 pm until 6 pm.
There will be several bands to include our very own Mt. Carmel Youth Orchestra to open the days events. We have a very special guest and highly secretive Professional Jazz Band that will be performing. This band is renowned and will be remembered forever as one of the best in the West! The local band High and Lonesome will finish out the day with mountain and roots music.
There will be a FREE FISH FRY for any veteran who attends with proper ID. Food and drinks available for all attendees. All ages are welcome. No coolers and please bring a lawn chair or blanket. This is an outdoor event. The event is FREE, donations for Veterans Memorial Square and Fort Wootton are appreciated.
